We are trying to print to a printer on our network. The host PC can print just fine. The remote PC cannot. The printer has been deleted and added to the remote PC about 10 times, and has been deleted and added to the host PC as many times.The remote PC can see the printer, can view the properties, can view the printing que, but cannot print. Once a document is in que, it says "error printing" and until we delete that document, nobody can print.We've created a new network from scratch 3 times, nothing fixes this.PLEASE HELP, I've spent over 25 hours so far with ZERO progress.1 person needs an answerI do too

If you check the Event Viewer on the host PC are there any relevent error messages?Did you go into the Security tab for the printer on the Host PC and make sure the account printing to it from the remote PC had full permissions?What kind of printer is it? I've installed the printer (A Zebra Thermal Printer) on two different PC's today, and both times, it can print from the host but not from ANY remotes. Our Canon plain paper printer can print from any remote or any host.It worked perfectly fine last week, we were printing to it from Texas, and it's located in Vermont, but now, no matter how many times we install, uninstall, or move it from PC to PC, we CANNOT get it to print.We can do EVERY function from a remote, including sending it commands such as reset and clean print heads etc, but it will not print. Everything just gets stuck in the que. All three PC's are identical XP Pro computers, not a single difference between any of them.
